Tulsa, Indiana, Flu, etc.

It's been a whirlwind during the last couple of weeks. We went to Tulsa to visit mom and dad and grandma and Bob, Mj and Lauren. It was mom and dad's anniversary. unfortunately, the camera that I took all those pictures are MIA so I will have to post those at another time. After we returned, less than a week later, we went to Indiana for a wedding and the Wieirch family gathering. See the slideshow below for those pics. When we returned from that, a couple days later, we got the flu. That was definitely not fun. We're all recovering. When you're sick, that's when you realize (at least I do) how the world keeps going on even when you "can't do anything". God taught me so much about His grace these last couple of days. What it looks like to watch Him put things together, how He makes things work out ... when I don't get in the way (which helps when you're sick in bed and can't get in the way). It's really amazing. God gave me a passage to meditate on during these past days .. Hebrews 13:20-21 "May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. " so amazing these words... the God that not only paved a way for us will equip us and work in us to help us be pleasing to him through Jesus. it's only by His grace! =) anyway, enjoy the pix!
